Product Details

Nutanix Acropolis is a powerful scale-out data fabric for storage, compute and virtualization. Acropolis combines feature-rich software-defined storage with built-in virtualization in a turnkey hyperconverged infrastructure solution that can run any application at any scale.

The Nutanix Xtreme Computing Platform running the Acropolis Hypervisor has been verified as Citrix Ready for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, formerly XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6, as well as Citrix ADC, formerly NetScaler and ShareFile. Customers will benefit from a greater selection of supported hypervisors for their VDI initiatives, including the new Acropolis Hypervisor.

The Acropolis Hypervisor, along with integrated consumer-grade virtualization management, lowers overall infrastructure costs and speeds virtual desktop deployments. The solution streamlines datacenter design by eliminating the hypervisor as a separately purchased and individually managed silo in the overall infrastructure stack, bringing operational and management simplicity and improved economics to VDI projects.
