Clarity AG

Clarity AG, headquartered in Bad Homburg, Germany, was founded in December 2000. The company is financed through the individual resources of its founding members and well-known private investors.

Target Groups & Products

The target groups for Clarity are companies, which want to offer their end customers and employees better telephone service in order to increase turnover, customer satisfaction and productivity. The products from Clarity can additionally be customized according to the size and branch of the customer. The core product is the Clarity Communication Center. The Clarity Communication Center makes available the whole telephone infrastructure of a call center or a Telephony system with a single software-based platform. Additional products of Clarity are the Clarity Contact Manager, hosted/managed Services and solutions based on Voice over IP.

Subsidiaries

The Bonn-based subsidiary Clarity Services GmbH founded in September 2001, focuses on the visual components of multimodal dialog systems. It specializes in content management and partners with Vignette.

Another subsidiary, Clarity Solutions GmbH, was founded specifically for large businesses in February 2004. It heads up complex and challenging voice projects for larger companies.

Internationalization

The Austrian branch opened its doors in June 2003 in Vienna. Just a few months after opening, the branch was already servicing a large number of customers.
Since January 2005, Clarity is active in Switzerland together with its partner Convercom. Clarity's Swiss activities are targeting large companies in the country.

In the second quarter of 2005 the Clarity location in Shanghai / China was opened. Since August 2005 Clarity is also established in India (in Calcutta and Trivandrum).

Association and Research Activities

In the second half of 2003, Clarity created the Hessen Research Center for Voice Commerce. Participants in the center's activities include the University of Frankfurt, the Technology Foundation Hessen, as well as the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg and Wiesbaden, among others. The center's objective is to coordinate the research on the topic of voice technology and then to facilitate its transfer into practice. Clarity provides the meeting space and handles the operations of the center.

VASCom LogoClarity is among the founding members of the industry association VASCom e. V. (Voice Applications Standards Committee). The membership consists of businesses of all sizes who, as either users or providers, are interested in the development of the voice technology industry.
