Product Details

For Enterprise Customers - Reduce Risk, Consolidate Infrastructure and Increase Productivity:

  • Reduce risk - migrate apps from unsupported, insecure or non-compliant versions of Windows and XenApp
  • Reduce costs - if you are delivering XP and Windows 7 VDI based business apps you can move them to XenApp
  • Improve productivity - users are able to benefit from latest HDX and performance improvements for ALL your applications

Cloudhouse Containers provide App Compatibility and Redirections that resolve compatibility issues for business applications that will only install and run on Windows 2003 and XP (32-Bit) so that they can run on the latest operating systems e.g Server 2012 R2. Containers provide support for 32-Bit applications with 16-Bit dlls, apps that require run times that conflict with versions deployed on the XenApp Server, and network and process redirections to enable multiple instances of a desktop app to run on a server. Cloudhouse's Containers can be deployed to servers using existing image build and management tools, including SCCM and LANDESK and are published to users through Citrix Studio.

For Citrix Service Providers - Decrease costs, improve service and delight your customers:

  • Reduce the total number of images and XenApp servers
  • Package once, reuse everywhere
  • Resolve application compatibility issues on different operating systems

With Cloudhouse, you can reduce the number of applications installed in the master image and efficiently deliver applications into XenApp servers using our push agent: “Package Deploy”. Admins install the push agent into the master image, and then push applications on demand into the servers. Admins continue to publish applications to users with Citrix Studio and, as application packages are managed centrally, all servers can be updated automatically.

Cloud based configuration management means packaged applications can be re-used across departments or companies because settings can be applied on-the-fly when the application starts so that they meet needs of each customer, user or machine.

Examples of this include; configuring license keys, language packs, office plugins, fonts on a per user, or per customer, basis. You can even configure an application to use different connection strings for SQL Server databases.

Cloudhouse also resolves compatibility issues for applications allowing, for example, Windows 2003 (32-Bit) applications to run on Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2 (64-Bit) as part of a XenApp migration. Cloudhouse can also help applications that aren’t suited to run on XenApp servers to run multiple instances, with data secured on a per user or per customer basis.

Additionally, Cloudhouse can decrease the number of servers required to deliver applications, like Sage 50 Accounts, and can even secure the data for customers in a multi-tenant XenApp environment. This drives a reduction in hosting costs and the time and effort required to manage the applications in images, servers and desktops. Usage reporting means you can monitor trends in application usage, so you can plan your license growth or cut back when applications are no longer being used.

Cloudhouse App Store, can be branded to provide customers with a vertical or horizontal catalog of applications to choose from, along with full reporting and application usage.
