The XC Family (640 and 740xd variants)of hyper-converged appliances integrate Dell EMC 14th generation PowerEdge servers with Nutanix software to offer one of the most versatile and scalable hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) platforms. By supporting a choice of hypervisors, the XC Family of appliances can be deployed quickly for all virtualized workloads to reduce management complexity and total cost of ownership. The XC Core variant of the Dell EMC XC (640 and 740xd variants) Family allows customers to source the Nutanix license directly from authorized partners, and then easily add the licenses to pre-validated systems that are configured, built and tested by Dell EMC.
