DriveLock is a device control and encryption solution for desktops and Terminal Server environments.
DriveLock offers comprehensive endpoint security by giving companies advanced control of the use of removable devices, encrypting removable media and protecting data on hard drives with Full Disk Encryption. DriveLock also includes an antivirus module and easy-to-implement application control functionality.
Users can encrypt their devices using a container based encryption. Administrators can control device usage based on multiple dimensions including device vendor and product ID (on thin clients if the clients supports the virtual channel provided by CenterTools).
DriveLock offers access control for drives (floppy disks, CD-ROMs, USB flash drives, etc.) and also controls all other device types, such as Bluetooth, Palm, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and other smart phones. One can even create detailed rules for the use of removable drives based on the drives manufacturer, model and unique serial number to achieve granular definition and implementation of access rules. Other features let you enable access to specific authorized media, set time limits and create exceptions for certain users, groups, computers and networks.
