The R181-2A0 is GIGABYTE’s 1U dual socket Intel Xeon Scalable Family general purpose rack server. Supporting the full range Skylake & Cascade Lake CPU SKUs (from Bronze to Platinum), with 24 x DIMM slots for DRAM and with support for Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory, 10 x 2.5"  drive bays for SATA or SAS HDD / SSD drives and 5 expansion slots (3 x LPHL and 2 x OCP mezzanine), the R181-2A0 offers a better balance of compute, memory, storage and expandability in a compact 1U form factor chassis.

The R181-2A0 also features many user-friendly and high-availability features common to GIGABYTE’s server products such as redundant power supplies, tool-less rail kits and easy remote management with our free GSM (GIGABYTE Server Management) software platform.
