The R281-2O0 is GIGABYTE’s 2U dual socket Intel Xeon Scalable Family general purpose rack server. The 2U form factor allows the R281-2O0 to offer a large storage and expansion capacity, including 26 x 2.5" SATAIII hot-swappable HDD/SSD bays in the front, and 8 x PCIe expansion slots (6 x full height half length, 2 x low profile half length) as well as 2 x OCP mezzanine slots in the rear. The R281-2O0 also features many user-friendly and high-availability features common to GIGABYTE’s server products such as easy-swap fans and redundant power supplies, tool-less rail kits and an Aspeed AST2500 BMC for easy remote management via IPMI or Redfish API with our advanced GSM (GIGABYTE Server Management) software.
