The HPE Smart Array E200i is an entry-level controller that includes a standard tool set for the entire management of your array controllers, and provides you with quality performance and proactive monitoring.

This new controller combines the benefits of better performance, increased server uptime, and proactive monitoring all while providing the investment protection customers have come to expect with HPE’s Smart Array family of controllers. The HPE Smart Array E200i is the first entry level controller utilizing PCI Express, and provides RAID 0, 1 and 1+0 support standard with an upgrade path to RAID 5 by adding Battery-Backed Write Cache (BBWC). The E200i is the embedded version of this array controller that ships in select server units, based on your ordering specifications.
