idQ for Citrix ADC

Citrix Ready Product Image / Logo

idQ idP (identity provider) provides a passwordless authentication for logging in to NetScaler Gateway via Microsoft ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) 3.0. idQ idP is a web application hosted by IIS (Internet Information Services) web server on Windows Server 2012R2. It is integrated with ADFS 3.0 as a claims provider trust. To be protected by the idQ Trust as a Service (TaaS) Platform, NetScaler Gateway must be integrated with ADFS 3.0 that leverages idQ idP. idQ idP enables users to securely log in to NetScaler Gateway by scanning idQ QR codes or through Push Notification. Authorization is performed by inBay's idQ TaaS located on the Internet cloud.

Product Details

idQ idP (identity provider) provides a passwordless authentication for logging in to Citrix Gateway, formerly Citrix NetScaler Gateway via Microsoft ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) 3.0. idQ idP is a web application hosted by IIS (Internet Information Services) web server on Windows Server 2012R2. It is integrated with ADFS 3.0 as a claims provider trust.

To be protected by the idQ Trust as a Service (TaaS) Platform, Citrix Gateway must be integrated with ADFS 3.0 that leverages idQ idP. idQ idP enables users to securely log in to Citrix Gateway by scanning idQ QR codes or through Push Notification. Authorization is performed by inBay's idQ TaaS located on the Internet cloud.

idQ TaaS (Trust as a Service) provided by inBay Technologies makes securely accessing a protected resource simple. Users unlock an idQ mobile app on their registered Android, iOS or Blackberry 10 smartphone to perform out-of-band passwordless authentication by scanning a QR Code or perform the 2nd-factor authentication by approving an access authorization request via push notification service. idQ TaaS can act as an identity provider to hundreds of web applications using OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect protocol. Citrix ADC, formerly NetScaler supports the third-party authentication via SAML protocol and OpenID Connect protocol.

The SAML authentication or OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0 authentication allows a user to log in to Citrix Gateway through idQ TaaS and seamlessly launch a published Citrix Virtual Apps, formerly XenApp application. Protocol transition allows authentication to transition from OpenID Connect to Kerberos for the Citrix Virtual Apps environment.
