NF8480M5 adopts the brand-new intelligent computing acceleration technology to provide better performance according to user’s application. It supports all kind of high performance technologies and features such as:

  • Intel® Xeon® scalable processors, with CPUs of up to 28 cores and 56 threads, and a maximum TDP of 205W
    Up to 48* 2,666MHz DDR4 ECC RDIMM or LRDIMM memories with high speed, high availability and up to 6T memory
  • 16GB 24* 2666 MT/ s NVDIMM memory which to save complete memory data and maintain both memory capacity and bandwidth in case of power failure
  • Twelve hot swap NVMe SSD and full flash configurations. This server provides up to 7.5 million+ IOPS, and with this extreme storage I/O brings qualitative leap of the storage performance.
  • Two dual-width GPUs with a single GPU providing 20 trillion FP16 floating-point computing performance which bring exciting possibilities for deep learning application.

Flexible expansion:
Inspur NF8480M5 supports hierarchical storage schemes, with up to 48* 2.5”/3.5” hard drives, 12* U.2 NVMe SSDs and 2 built-in M.2 SSDs which can be used as OS boot drives, in order to satisfying storage requirements of different business scenarios. It supports 16 PCIe3.0 slots and 1 OCP slot. The PCIE bus resources allows flexible configuration, and support free switch between U.2 NVMe hard drive and PCIe expansion cards based on customer requirement.

Stability and reliability:
It adopts the innovative E-SRA architecture with BMC software dual-level write protection, and independent BIOS refreshing through BMC, which ensures a safety and reliable firmware upgrade.

It leverages IMD enhanced memory protection and PCIe hot swap technology.
The system adopts the new generation LIDS (optic channel diagnosis system) and DSFI (deep system failure insight) technology which can have real-time full access to underlying faults information, therefore greatly improving troubleshooting efficiency and accelerating the system fault recovery.
