SUPPZ provides a framework for starting, executing, and monitoring jobs on a set of allocated resources in HPCC, GRID or Cloud structures.

SUPPZ is a resource manager designed for Linux clusters and provides control over batch jobs and clouded or distributed computing resources. It provides a framework for starting, executing, and monitoring jobs on a set of allocated resources in HPCC, GRID or Cloud structures. It allocate exclusive and/or non-exclusive access to computer nodes to users for some duration of time for preprocessing, computing and post processing. SUPPZ designed to operate in a heterogeneous cluster with hybrid nodes and supports GRID- and Cloud-systems.

Features

  • Designed to operate in a heterogeneous cluster with hybrid nodes (Intel CPU/Intel MIC)
  • Allocate exclusive and/or non-exclusive access to computer nodes to users for some duration of time for preprocessing, calculation and post processing.
  • A highly tolerant of system failures, including failure of the node executing its control functions
  • Allows to Represent VDI access to allocated nodes
  • Allows redirecting batch jobs execution in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
  • Optimized for use with billing systems
  • Provides Service Level Agreement

A big part of SUPPZ is opensource. It is used in Russia Academy of Science as resources managing software for supercomputers. It could be deployed on other side by request.
