McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and the McAfee Agent (MA), work in concert with each other to provide a single management and single agent for your entire environment. The McAfee Agent handles all communication to and from ePO. When you are ready to deploy products to your environment, like VirusScan Enterprise or Host Intrusion Prevention, you will use ePO and MA to handle the deployment and updating. You do not need to physically touch every host to deploy products. Everything can be completed, over the network, from ePO.
