DxLab is a Laboratory Information System (LIS), it can manage large laboratory and complex organisation.

The multi-sites and multi-institutions Laboratory Management System DxLab® is a multi-sites and multi-labs solution that allows sharing of data thanks to a common repository, while adapting to each of the specific aspects of all the laboratories.

Medasys' solutions meets COFRAC 15189 quality standard, with the pooling of all processes, traceability, good practices guidelines, etc. All processes can be centralized within the Laboratory Management System. Biologist validation gives access to a real dashboard, where all the data from the medical record is viewable.

DxLab® easily integrates itself at the heart of an existing information system. All patients results are safely stored and accessible for several years. DxLab® allows you to connect all types of devices directly or via a middleware, thus ensuring reliability and traceability. Certification, Approvals, Standards and Standards ISO 15189 concerning the analysis process for applications and visualization of laboratory results. DMP and MSS compatible. SIS interoperability framework: conformity to standards and interoperability standards (IHE profiles, HL7) challenged every year at the Connectathon. DxLab is the fruit of an investment totalling about €15 million and 10 years of research and development. In 1999, many users of Medasys Biologie contributed to the writing of functional specifications and the definition of cases for using the product, on the basis of their computer skills. Between 2000 and 2004, 11 pilot clients of varying sizes and organisation types contributed to its qualification. DxLab covers all sizes of laboratories including general and teaching hospitals, simple sites or multiple sites, multidiscipline and multilaboratories. DxLab is currently deployed on 60 sites in France, Belgium and Denmark, including 5 teaching hospitals CHU NANTES (160 MB, 7000 D/J, multi-site Hôtel Dieu and Hôpital Nord) CHU AMIENS (North and South) CHRU TOURS (Trousseau and Bretonneau) CHU ROUEN (Charles Nicole and St Julien) CHUMONTPELLIER (18 laboratories on 5 sites)Finally, CHR Metz-Thionville is a good example of integration of the Laboratory Management System with an Establishment Patient File. In fact, DxLab receives on computer prescriptions sent from the DxCare patient file and sends its results to the same Patient File. It should be noted that the connected prescription integrated in the patient file has been operational since the launch of DxLab. The two projects were managed in parallel by Medasys.
