NetAttest EPS has all necessary functions for network authentication, including IEEE802.1X authentication server identifying user and PC for LAN connection. It will be able to shut out fraud users or PC without hampering convenience of valid users if you certify when connecting LAN. NetAttest EPS can work as an authentication server, not only for LAN connection, but also for VPN or Remote Access. Supported User DB

Local NetAttest EPS has Local User DB. You can manage up to 100,000 MAC address with MAC address option license.

Active Directory NetAttest EPS can refer registered users on the Active Directory. The main usage is EAP-PEAP certification. NetAttest EPS can use both of registered accounts on the local user database and of the accounts information on the Window domain server when NetAttest EPS is working with Windows domain authentication.

LDAP NetAttest EPS can refer LDAP as User DB. It’s used for PAP authentication.

RADIUS NetAttest EPS has RADIUS proxy feature which enables transfer RADIUS requests to the other RADIUS based on various conditions. It enables step-by-step deployment from the other One-Time password system into higher authentication methods.

NetAttest EPS provides secure network admission not only for PC but also for Smartphone

Private CA (Certificate Authority) NetAttest EPS has various features for Digital Certificate operation. NetAttest reduces Digital Certificate operation and administration load significantly and provides workflows such as Certification Request, authorization, issuance, distribution, and update.

OTP

NetAttest EPS has OTP (One Time Password) server, which enables different password every authentication. User doesn’t need to prepare another OTP server.

OTP methods provide high-level security for PC or for Smartphone. It’s widely used for VPN as a best practice.

NetAttest EPS supports various RADIUS authentications. It supports PAP/CHAP, which is used for IEEE802.1X or Remote Access Authentication. It can also deploy network access policy based on Users, Location and Time. For example, you can limit network access business hours only.

HA, Distributed deployment, Backup/Restore features to maintain Network Availability

NetAttest EPS supports HA to improve Network Authentication availability. It supports distributed deployment (Parent-Child deployment) as well. Distributed multiple NetAttest EPS can work with a master NetAttest EPS and sharing the authentication status.

NetAttest EPS has a configuration backup features which can copy a backup file to a specified FTP server periodically. When NetAttest EPS fails, a replacement can be done in 10 minutes with restoring the backup file.
