3945N iSCSI & NAS Systems are available in 1U, 2U, 3U, 5U and 8U 50 Hot Swap SAS or SATA Drive Bays with internal capacity of 30TB of SAS or 200TB of SATA RAID Storage  before adding external expansion options. 3945N were designed to attach to any SAS, iSCSI or Fibre Channel attached RAID Arrays from Storageflex or any other manufacturer while providing NAS, iSCSI and Fibre Channel Host Connectivity. Up to 512TB of external storage is possible with Storageflex’s 3945N, SJ316 or HA 3969 Subsystems. 

Powered by Windows Storage Server 2008 (WSS) or Linux Kernel (LSS) with Storageflexs optional Data Management Software, 3945N is the most scalable architecture in capacity, types of disks and host connectivity, 3945N is ideally suited for Mission Critical Online Storage with Hot Swap Disks yet low cost enough for larger capacity disk based archives. Advanced features including Snapshots, Volume Mirroring, Disaster Recovery, Simultaneous NAS, iSCSI and FC Host Support provide peace of mind computing.

3945N provides an advanced storage manager for file filtering and quota management, a new Network File System (NFS) server to improve performance, and a fully integrated Web-based user interface for remote management. 3945N powered by Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 also incorporates Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) for point-in-time shadow copy capabilities, support for the enhanced version of distributed file system (DFS), and support for the Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) Software Initiator from Microsoft and other hardware/software vendors.
