MicroBlade MBI-6118D-T2 is a compact self-contained server that connects into a pre-cabled enclosure that provides power, cooling, management and networking functions. One enclosure for the MBI-6118D-T2 MicroBlade module can hold twenty-eight blade units.

The MBI-6118D-T2 MicroBlade module supports one LGA2011 Intel Xeon E3-1200 V3 series processor in an LGA2011 socket embedded in the motherboard.

Each MBI-6118D-T2 MicroBlade module has four (4) 240-pin VLP UDIMM sockets that can support up to 32 GB VLP ECC UDIMM of DDR3 1600/1333 MHz speed, 8 GB and 4 GB size VLP DIMM memory. Memory is interleaved, which requires both modules to be of the same size and speed.

The MBI-6118D-T2 MicroBlade module has either four (4) 2.5" SATA3 HDD/SDD or two (2) 3.5" SATA3 HDD/SDD internally mounted drives. The MBI-6118D-T2 MicroBlade module has only two hard drives, so only a RAID 0 or 1 array is possible.
