The SuperServer 4027GR-TR is a high-end GPU-optimized server comprised of two main subsystems: the SC418GTS-R3200B 4U server chassis, the X9DRG OF dual processor serverboard and the X9DRG-O-PCIE I/O board.

At the heart of the SuperServer 4027GR-TR lies the X9DRG-OF, a dual processor serverboard based on the Intel® C602 PCH chipset and designed to provide maximum performance. The X9DRG-OF supports two Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 or E5-2600 v2 series processors.

The X9DRG-OF has 24 DIMM slots to support up to 1.5 TB of LRDIMM. 768 GB of RDIMM or 128 GB of ECC/non-ECC UDIMM DDR3-1600/1333/1066/800 memory. A Serial ATA controller is integrated into the C602 to provide two SATA 3.0 ports (I-SATA 0/1) and eight SATA 2.0 ports (I-SATA 2~5 from AHCI, S-SATA 1~4 from SCU) that support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. The SATA drives are hot-swappable units.
