At the heart of the FatTwin F618R2-RTPT+ lies the X10DRFR-T, a dual processor serverboard based on the Intel® PCH C612 chipset and designed to provide maximum performance. Eight of these serverboards are mounted in node trays for the F418BC-R1K62B chassis. The X10DRFR-T, supports single or dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600v3 series processors (Socket R3 LGA 2011). Each processor supports four full-width Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) links, with support of up to 38.4 GT/s per QPI link and with Data Transfer Rate of up to 9.6 GT/s per direction.
Each X10DRFR-T serverboard node has eight (16) DIMM slots supporting up to 1 TB LRDIMM or 512 GB RDIMM of DDR4-2133/1866/1600 MHz speed SDRAM in up to 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB (LRDIMM only) size at 1.20V voltages.
A Serial ATA controller is integrated into the PCH C612 to provide up to a tenport SATA subsystem, (six (6) SATA 3.0 Connections supported by Intel PCH (I-SATA0-5), four (4) SATA 3.0 Connections supported by Intel SCU (S-SATA0-3), (S-SATA2/3: used with Supermicro's SuperDOMs (Device-on-Module) with power supply supported) which is RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 supported (from Intel PCH). The drives are hot-swappable units.
