KX DRIVER 6.1 for Universal Printing combines the KX and GX modules for reduced setup and maintenance. It also supports side-by-side installation of the same driver version with different driver packages. To provide finer access to controls, KX DRIVER 6.1 for Universal Printing can optionally exclude Profile, Poster, and other PDL features from driver packages. Font handling has been improved, making some jobs smaller and faster.

The redesigned user interface improves efficiency. Driver options are seamlessly integrated into one window, organized by category and easy to navigate. It takes fewer clicks to find and select printing options. PDL settings (KPDL, PCL XL, PCL 5c, and PDF) can be configured in the Printing Preferences dialog, as well as in Printer Properties.

KX DRIVER 6.1 for Universal Printing can improve workflow efficiency by optionally sending an e-mail notification to a specified user when a print job is done.
