Safe AutoLogon Password Server provides Active Directory passwords to requesting Safe AutoLogon software clients for automatic logon.
Wherever the need for automatic logons, Safe AutoLogon Password Server (SALPS) consolidates and automates password requests to authorized Safe AutoLogon workstations. It centrally manages and synchronizes user account passwords with Active Directory and can regularly generate new passwords for HIPAA or internal company policy requirements, and pairs seamlessly with Epic® in the healthcare industry.
SALPS replaces clear-text Registry passwords used for automatic logon to a secure, 256-bit AES encrypted transaction between Safe AutoLogon clients and the SALPS server. The SALPS database has two layers of 256-bit AES encryption, and even the network traffic is encrypted the same.
SALPS gives the administrator control over tens to thousands of clients running Safe AutoLogon. These clients can be desktops, laptops, or mobile notebooks in the field, either over the LAN, WAN, or wireless.
SALPS has built-in redundancy with other SALPS servers to mitigate or eliminate any downtime.
